AHFA Releases 2025 Year In Review

AHFA’s 2025 Year In Review was mailed to all member company CEOs and presidents on Wednesday, April 1. It chronicles last year’s advocacy efforts and provides a detailed summary of the programs and services offered member companies throughout the year.

Members also can access a digital copy of the 2025 Year In Review, along with previous editions of the annual report, from AHFA’s website.

Over the years, an increasing share of the Year In Review has been dedicated to regulatory issues.

“The number and complexity of today’s key compliance concerns make drafting a concise summary of AHFA’s work challenging,” says Patricia Bowling, AHFA's vice president of communications. “We strive to provide enough context so that even new members can appreciate the depth of experience and expertise AHFA brings to the table on the issues of key concern to our industry.”

In addition to reviewing AHFA’s regulatory compliance activity, the Year In Review provides a snapshot of the year’s business and political environment, spotlighting significant issues that shaped the year. It also provides a month-by-month recap of how AHFA responded to those issues, along with the educational and networking events that brought members together each month.

The annual publication also calls attention to the Solution Partners and International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA) and the broad range of initiatives each of these divisions offers its members to foster connection and collaboration.

“There have been many turbulent years throughout AHFA’s 120-year history, and 2025 was certainly one of them,” Bowling notes. During challenging times, members who take advantage of AHFA’s networking and educational opportunities benefit from shared knowledge, insight and expertise. "These resources empower members to persevere together, which is the theme of our 2025 report. We carry that shared commitment into our next decade of service to the industry.”
