The Solution Partners division of the American Home Furnishings Alliance recently awarded $30,000 in education scholarships to the children of industry workers.
The Solution Partners Scholarship Program is supported by an annual golf tournament first held in 1990. The inaugural four scholarships were awarded in 2000. Since then, 136 students have received financial assistance from AHFA to help them attend a university, community college or technical school.
Today the Solution Partners Scholarship Fund awards 12 annual scholarships, eight based on academic merit and financial need and four based on academic merit alone. All applicants for the $2,500 awards must be students who have a parent working full-time at an AHFA member company.
