2020 Tournament Cancelled.
The Board of Directors of AHFA’s Solution Partners division has voted to cancel the 30th Annual Education Golf Tournament.
The decision comes amid ongoing concerns related to COVID-19 combined with current state restrictions that would impact the event originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at Lake Hickory Country Club in Hickory, N.C.
All proceeds from this annual tournament go to the Solution Partners Education Fund, which supports a variety of educational initiatives, including the Solution Partners Scholarship Program. This program awards 12 annual scholarships valued at $2,500 each to students who are children of AHFA member-company employees. It is the only scholarship program in the industry specifically designed to help industry workers fund a college education for their children.
The tournament cancellation will have no impact on scholarships for the 2021-2022 school year. (Scholarships for the 2020-2021 academic year already have been presented.)
