Fine-Tuning Formaldehyde Rules
AHFA will participate in a Laminated Product Project work group meeting this month with the California Air Resources Board and the federal EPA to discuss provisions related to laminated products. The EPA has one year – until January 2013 – to put final rules in place that address a variety of enforcement details, aside from the actual emission limits set by the federal standard. AHFA will remain “at the table” on behalf of the residential furniture industry throughout 2012 as these details are discussed and decided.
