MGM Transport Corporation announces the addition of LTL services from Mississippi to Southern California and the Northeast. This addition follows the company’s recent expansion of direct pick-up services in the Midwest and the addition of a larger distribution center and warehouse in Southern California.

The High Point Market Authority was established in 2001 as the official sponsor and organizer of the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C., now known simply as The High Point Market. New president Brian Casey, a 26-year veteran of the trade show industry, took the helm last year. Currently there are 188 buildings with more than 2,600 exhibitors participating in the High Point Market, making it the largest home furnishings trade show in the world. More than 12 million square feet of showroom space opens each April and October to host more than 100,000 registrants from 110 countries.
