Cargo operates over 400 trucks in the United States and Canada. “Our trucks traveled over 60 million miles last year. These drivers worked very hard to operate in the safest and most efficient manner,” said Cargo CEO John Pope. Its Fleet Safety Award Program recognizes carriers for achieving low preventable accident frequency per million miles of operation.

Cargo also announces it has joined the AMBER Alert Highway Network, an initiative to help recover abducted children. Using satellite communications, Cargo trucks all across the country will receive alerts about child abductions, suspected abductors and/or suspected vehicles.
