AHFA's Suppliers Division is dedicated to improving the effectiveness of suppliers and manufacturers serving the furniture industry. The division strives to accomplish this mission by:
- addressing industry issues and trends;
- increasing understanding and communication between suppliers and manufacturers;
- sponsoring programs that build and strengthen the furniture industry; and,
- promoting individual professional development.
AHFA's Suppliers Division was organized in 1964 to welcome suppliers of products and services who wished to support the furniture manufacturing community. Over the years, the diverse member-ship of this division has played a key role in providing needed information, expertise and partnership on critical industry issues. The Suppliers Division operates with its own Board of Directors, providing member companies with opportunities for both leadership and visibility within the home furnishings industry. Directors are senior level executives in supplier companies. They serve one- to three-year terms.
