Need help understanding CPSIA’s requirement for training related to undue influence on third party labs? If you manufacture children’s furniture, CPSIA required you to have a “reasonable testing program” in place by February 13 this year. Part of the requirements for that program include training to prevent “undue influence” on the testing labs. Toxic Crusaders
At least 26 states have introduced or plan to introduce bills to address the use of chemicals in consumer products – and many of them specifically target flame retardant chemicals used in foam for upholstered furniture.
