Transportation and logistics executives from AHFA member companies are invited to join AHFA’s Specialized Furniture Carriers division for its annual meeting June 13 at High Point University. The program will examine transportation trends, pending regulatory issues and the changing home furnishings marketplace. Topics include:
- The Future of Truck Design, presented by Volvo.
- Six Months in the Trenches, a government affairs update from Hank Seaton, Seaton & Husk LP, special counsel to the Specialized Furniture Carriers.
- Update on Truck Safety and Compliance Issues, North Carolina Department of Public Safety (invited).
- Managing the Shift from Box Store Retailers to E-Commerce, presented by Ray Kuntz, chairman and CEO of Watkins Shepard.
In addition to presentations from experts in their respective fields, the half-day program offers an opportunity for peer-to-peer networking. This program is open exclusively to AHFA member companies. There is no charge, but registration is required.
