AHFA Resource Guide

A variety of professional and technical seminars, training programs and conferences throughout the year offer Supplier Division members networking opportunities with AHFA's manufacturer members.

Suppliers are invited to any or all educational programs and are encouraged to review the annual slate of events to identify the programs that best suit their areas of industry focus.

AHFA Annual Meeting
Top executives from Supplier Division companies also are invited to AHFA's premier event of the year, the Annual Meeting held each November in a location determined by the current AHFA President.

Keynote speakers at the Annual Meeting address topics of interest to corporate executives. Business sessions typically conclude around noon each day to allow attendees to enjoy golf or other leisure activities at the premier resort locations. A gala reception and dinner dance typically conclude the meeting on a Saturday evening. The event is highlighted by the presentation of AHFA's Distinguished Service Award. Look in the November portion of the Calendar of Events for details on the meeting.

Scholarship Golf Tournament
The Annual Suppliers Division Scholarship Golf Tournament is held each June.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the Tournament. By increasing the support level for the tournament, the division hopes to award additional individual scholarships in the future.

The Suppliers Division Scholarship Program currently awards six annual scholarships valued at $2,000 each to the children of regular, full-time employees of AHFA member companies. The one-year scholarships are awarded based on financial need and merit of the student. Applicants must be 21 years of age or under and enrolled in or planning to enroll in a four-year college or university, a junior or community college or a vocational or technical school. The scholarships are issued in two equal installments in June and December of the year in which the award is granted. Checks are made payable to the educational institution.

Scholarship applications are due January 31 each year, and the recipients are announced in April.

The program is open to both manufacturer and supplier members of the Alliance. Informational materials suitable for copying and distribution to company employees are available online, as well as the scholarship application.
