December 19, 2017 – HIGH POINT, N.C. – The American Home Furnishings Alliance supplied the lead editorial content for a December Childhood Safety supplement produced by Mediaplanet and published today in USA Today. The supplement aims to address common safety issues while empowering parents with the information they need to take preemptive measures.
The print component of “Childhood Safety” was distributed within USA Today, with a circulation of approximately 250,000 and an estimated readership of 750,000. The supplement also will be available at 2018 parenting expos, such as MommyCon.
The digital component of the campaign is distributed through a social media strategy and across a network of news sites and partner social media platforms. Mediaplanet is an independent publisher of content-marketing campaigns covering a variety of topics and industries.
“With a mid-December publication date, AHFA’s contribution focused on making homes safe for children over the holidays,” said AHFA Vice President of Communications Patricia Bowling.
