GOVERNANCE AHFA's direction is determined by a Board of Directors. AHFA's mission statement provides the Board with guidance in carrying out this responsibility. Directors are senior level executives in home furnishings companies. They serve one- to three-year terms. The Executive Committee, comprised of the Chairman of the Board, First Vice Chairman, Second Vice Chairman and Immediate Past Chairman, leads the Board of Directors. The top staff person of the Alliance is the Chief Executive Officer, who is responsible for facilitating the completion of directives established by the Board. The CEO supervises all staff activites. |
